1. Service Description

Alfar is an online marketplace connecting patients with licensed physiotherapists for home visits in Germany. Alfar acts solely as an intermediary and is not itself a healthcare provider.

2. User Roles

• Patients: Can search for therapists, book sessions, communicate, and pay after session completion.
• Professionals: Can create a profile, accept bookings, conduct sessions, and receive payouts. An active subscription (EUR 25/month) is required.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

4. Booking and Cancellation

• Bookings can be created through the app.
• Professionals may confirm or decline bookings.
• Cancellations are subject to the terms specified in the app.
• Late cancellations may incur fees.

5. Payment Terms

• Payment is processed after session completion, not at the time of booking.
• The platform charges a 20% service fee. The professional receives 80% of the session price.
• Payments are processed through Stripe.
• Professionals receive payouts via Stripe Connect.
• Professionals pay a monthly subscription of EUR 25 for platform access.

6. Limitation of Liability

Alfar is an intermediary service. We are not liable for:

• The quality of physiotherapy services provided
• Actions or omissions of therapists
• Health outcomes of treatments
• Damages arising from use of the platform, to the extent permitted by law

7. Professional Obligations

• Valid license to practice physiotherapy in Germany
• Compliance with all applicable laws and professional regulations
• Maintaining own professional liability insurance
• Accurate and up-to-date profile information

8. Dispute Resolution

In case of disputes between patients and professionals, Alfar may but is not obligated to act as a mediator. For unresolvable disputes, the courts at Alfar's registered seat shall have jurisdiction.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is, where permissible, the registered seat of Alfar.

10. Changes

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. You will be notified of material changes via email or push notification.
